Roadmaps that survive contact with procurement
By Ren Matsuda
Procurement calendars rarely align with sprint ceremonies, yet integration roadmaps often pretend vendors answer RFCs like internal teammates. Motioncore’s Integration Roadmap Studio spends structured time translating procurement milestones—renewals, security questionnaires, sandbox expirations—into the same Gantt language engineering already trusts.
We encourage dual-track artifacts: one timeline owned by engineering with technical dependencies, another overlay managed by operational stakeholders who carry vendor conversations. When the overlays diverge, we surface the gap publicly rather than hiding surprises in footnotes.
Follow-on, we tie reconciliation checkpoints to executive forums already on the calendar. That reduces bespoke status theater and keeps decisions documented where budgets actually move.
